What are the house rules?

Sheridan Hostel operates under strict guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for all guests. All guests must follow posted rules at all times.

How do I check in and out of the hostel?

Check-in is available from 3 PM to 10 PM. Guests can self-check-in using the provided code. Check-out is by 11 AM. Please ensure you return your key and leave your space tidy.

Do you allow extended stays?

No. All stays are short-term only. The maximum stay is 28 consecutive days and extensions are not permitted.

What happens if rules are not followed?

Failure to follow house rules may result in immediate removal from the property without refund.

Can I receive mail or packages?

No. Guests may not use the property address for deliveries, mail, or identification purposes.

Sheridan Hostel provides short-term, transient lodging in Dania Beach, Florida. By booking or staying at the property, guests agree to the following terms and conditions.

1.Sheridan Hostel operates as transient lodging only. This agreement does not create a lease, tenancy, or residency.

• Guests are temporary occupants only
• No exclusive possession of any room or bed is granted
• Stay is governed by applicable Florida laws for transient lodging

Additional Important Rules

2. Length of Stay

• Maximum stay is 28 consecutive days
• Extensions may be denied at management discretion
• Stays beyond 28 days are not permitted

3. Bed & Room Assignments

• Beds are assigned on a temporary basis
• Management may change room or bed assignments at any time
• Guests are not guaranteed a specific bed or room

4. Mail & Address Use

Sheridan Hostel does not accept mail or deliveries for guests.

• Use of the property address is not permitted for mail or identification purposes
• Deliveries may be refused or returned to sender

5. Visitors & Access

• Only registered guests are allowed on the property
• Access credentials are non-transferable
• Unauthorized access may result in removal from the property

6. Parking

• Parking requires a valid permit
• Fees apply based on vehicle type
• Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense

7. Smoking, Drugs & Alcohol

• Smoking is permitted only in designated areas
• Drugs, weapons, and prohibited items are not allowed
• Violations may result in immediate removal

8. Conduct & Curfew

• Quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM
• Guests are expected to follow all posted guidelines
• Disruptive behavior is not permitted

9. Personal Property

• Guests are responsible for their belongings
• Items must be properly stored and labeled
• Sheridan Hostel is not responsible for lost or unattended items

10. Linens & Housekeeping

• Linens and towels are provided
• Guests are responsible for maintaining their assigned space
• Housekeeping services are not included

11. Payments & Charges

Guests authorize Sheridan Hostel to charge for:

• Lodging and applicable fees
• Parking
• Damages or violations
• Administrative costs

12. Termination of Stay

Management may terminate a stay for rule violations.

• Guests who are required to leave must vacate immediately
• Re-entry after removal is not permitted
• Unauthorized return may be treated as trespassing

13. Enforcement

Sheridan Hostel reserves the right to:

• Deny service
• Require guests to leave for violations
• Contact law enforcement when necessary

14. Acknowledgment

By staying at Sheridan Hostel, guests confirm:

• They do not claim residency or tenancy
• They understand and agree to all rules
• Violations may result in removal from the property
